We are looking for a Candidate for a newly created position of Country Financial Controller based in our office in Gdynia.

As the Financial Controller you will be tasked with setting the finance and controlling organization in Poland and liaising with the corporate French organization.
Furthermore, you will be involved with various finance improvements projects and ensure correct processing in the financial reporting.

From a country management perspective, you will be involved with multiple post-acquisition integrations as well as greenfield initiatives.
As a Country Financial Controller, you will:

• Drive monthly closing process to enable timely monthly group reporting, including country results, journals, checks & balances verifying accuracy of financials, following up with regions on any issues and inconsistencies,
• Drive industrial controlling (cost and revenues) and support management with decision making process.
• Analyze profitability by line of business and profitability optimization,
• Ensure monthly inventory accuracy and valuation,
• Prepare the annual Financial Statements of each of the entities in Poland and coordinating the process with auditors,
• Ensure the application of the Group Accounting Policies,
  Prepare Accounting Papers for reporting issues,
• Manage change in the reporting process to improve quality and harmonizing the reporting of the country to become globally standardized,
  Coordinate Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) process of the country,
• Prepare of ad-hoc analysis as required,
• Manage given projects in the area of finance and accounting. Have an active role in development and maintenance of
  the current and future implementation of new systems,

International travel (France) might be involved.

The ideal candidate has a completed university education and a minimum 3-year experience within an industrial environment and the right drive and ambition to make the difference.

• Knowledge in Accounting, Consolidation, IFRS and policies, including PPA versus local financials is a plus,
• Recognized professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/CIMA) would be a strong advantage,
• Ability to work independently and with colleagues in different areas of the business as well as part of finance team and
  with auditors,
• Perfect command of English (speaking & writing), Additional language(s) are not required but a plus (French),
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Power Point,
  Strong business acumen and commercial attitude,
• Strong communication skills, result-oriented, solution-oriented, and able to bring about changes,
• Reliable, proactive and a self-starter.

Aloxe is a fast-growing company specializing in the production of recycled plastic (rPET), backed by Ara Partners, a global private equity firm focused on investments aimed at decarbonizing the industrial sector. We operate internationally with headquarters in Amsterdam and operational management in Paris. Our production facilities are located in France, Italy and Poland.

Guided by the core values of respect, boldness, generosity and perseverance, we are looking for a Senior Accountant for our Italian plant in Presenzano (Caserta). The selected resource will contribute to the financial and accounting management of the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

The figure will be responsible for the management of the general accounting, customers and suppliers, ensuring compliance with Italian regulations and company policies.

He/she will have to deal with the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports according to Italian accounting standards and IFRS, supporting the external consultant in the preparation of the statutory financial statements.

He will manage the treasury, monitoring cash flows, bank reconciliations and financial forecasts.

Will work with external auditors to ensure regulatory compliance and timely delivery of required documentation.

He/she will manage the ledger and coordination of the monthly and annual accounting close process, as well as the monitoring of tax compliance, in collaboration with the external consultant.

He will participate in the implementation and go-live of Microsoft Dynamics as a key user for the Finance area.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Finance or related disciplines and at least three years' experience in accounting in medium or large companies.
• An in-depth knowledge of Italian GAAP and IFRS is essential, as well as excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Dynamics is preferred, as well as the possession of professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA.
• Fluent knowledge of the English language, with a minimum level of B2.

As an Accounting and Administrative Associate at our rapidly growing company, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance operations while also assisting with key administrative tasks. In this dynamic position, you will primarily focus on financial responsibilities, including bookkeeping, monthly financial reporting, VAT return preparation, and liaising with Dutch tax authorities.

Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks will be essential as you help keep our financial processes accurate and efficient. While the majority of your time (around 80%) will be dedicated to finance-related activities, you will also contribute to the smooth operation of the office, assisting with administrative duties such as office management and event coordination (up to 20% of your time). This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a scale-up company, where you can make a tangible impact in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records two corporate entities, process transactions, and prepare monthly financial reports for management.
Administrative Support:

Provide general administrative support to the finance team and senior management, including assisting with document preparation, data entry, and file management.
 Experience with preparing VAT Returns is a plus: Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns on a quarterly basis
Liaison with Tax Authorities: Act as a point of contact for the Dutch tax authorities, managing communication, providing necessary documentation, and addressing any queries.
Office Management:

Oversee daily office operations, including managing meeting room bookings, handling incoming mail, and maintaining a well-organized office environment.
Event Planning and Coordination:

Help plan and organize corporate events in Amsterdam, including the companies participation in an annual trade shows, visits by the board of directors, and team meetings by ensuring smooth logistics and a positive experience for all stakeholders.
.Skills and competencies :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in bookkeeping, or a related role
Understanding of VAT regulations in the Netherlands, with the ability to prepare VAT returns and liaise with tax authorities is a plus
Fluency in Dutch and English
Strong proficiency in accounting software (MS Dynamics or similar), and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as v-lookups, pivot tables).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in financial record-keeping and report preparation.
Comfortable working in a rapidly growing, scale-up company, and able to quickly adapt to changing needs and responsibilities.
Positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team environment as well as individually
